About Us

KS Language Academy is dedicated to teaching Spanish, English, and French to our community members. We are a small business located in Tampa, and are proud to have served the Greater Tampa Bay Area for more than fifteen years.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality instruction and education to our students. We offer an exclusive holistic program which combines all language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

All classes at the academy are taught by a team of professional native instructors. We carefully select our instructors based on their teaching experience and academic education.

Our professional team is trained and well versed to meet the needs of each student. Our aptitude exam and interview give the instructors a clear view of the student's level, their priorities for each stage of learning, and the steps needed to achieve their language goals.

Mariana Kappler

Mariana Kappler has a Bachelor's degree in Financial Business Administration with a Master degree in Banking. She has 14 years of experience in the bank industry in Venezuela, and has been a language instructor since moving to Tampa in 2007.

Taylor McDowell

Taylor McDowell graduated from The University of Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. He has worked as a theatre correspondent for a Chicago newspaper, and has been a language instructor with us since 2016.

Alejandra Camacho

Alejandra Camacho has a Bachelor's degree in the Teaching of Mathematics and a Master's degree in Educational Administration. She has been a language instructor for since 1998.

Caroline Savy

Caroline Savy is an economist with a Master's degree in Petroleum/Energy Economics. She has had a successful career in the petroleum industry, and has been teaching French and English, her native languages, for more than 20 years.
